Abby is a movement artist and educator whose journey in dance began in childhood as a gymnast, later expanding to dancing in school activities that nurtured her love for movement and performance. She pursued formal training in classical ballet under Lisa Macuja's School of Ballet Manila, where she honed her technical foundation and artistry. Abby went on to perform as a company apprentice, appearing in various ballet productions of the company. Currently, she is thriving as a senior company member with Galaw Co. Dance Theater, performing contemporary, ballet, jazz, and improvisation in company shows.
With a deep passion for sharing her craft, Abby is also a dance teacher for ballet, contemporary, and floorwork across local studios, such as Studio Dance by Lina and Nude Floor. Her movement practice continues to evolve, culminating in her debut choreographic work, Where I Met Myself, which premiered in June 2025 at WhyNot.
Beyond the dance space, Abby is also a dedicated speech-language pathologist, working closely with children and bringing the same empathy, creativity, and discipline from her artistic practice into her clinical work.
