In a world increasingly accustomed to moral indifference, we move through aseptic domains seemingly governed by technology. But how often do we feel fully alive?

Nude Floor, a multidisciplinary art studio, proudly presents THE GALLERY, an immersive experience with senses as the thematic focal point. Tapping artists across disciplines, the event provides a compelling platform for local creatives all while proposing newer ways to curate an integrative and perception-based event.

A collaborative exercise between restraint and letting go, it seeks to remind us how important sensorial awareness is when navigating around our everyday realities.

Set in the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, the impressive space is reworked to accommodate this unique concept, rendered in an encompassing 360-degree setting. With the theater as the back- drop, the viewers enter through the backstage door, creating a sense of intimacy.

An invitation to leave everything by the door and bring only the senses. A belief in our internal guides and the way they can usher us from curiosity to experience and ultimately understanding if only we listened in more often.

The audience is guided through a tunnel-like space featuring temporary installations by selected artists. From here, one is guided onto the main stage itself, where various seating is arranged for the audience leading to a 90-minute sit down show featuring several pieces from a variety of movement artists. More than a performance, it is a welcoming hand extended, urging to partake in a collective encounter, the line between the performers and their public deliberately blurred.

From Krump to Hip Hop, Ballroom Voguing to Improvisation, spanning across many other styles, the performances portray an infectious vitality and suppleness of breathing bodies dancing together. Different genres cross-references, joy and anxi- eties embodied, expanded with each movement. Certain fragilities are brought up to the core, only to highlight hidden strong suits. Soundwaves as a form of agency, vehicles for deeper understanding and possible transformations.

The place of touch and contact in the fullness of our lives, sight as a truth teller, taste and smell as sources of information. A thematic pillar insists:

more than feeling alive, how often do we go back to ourselves?

In such close proximities to brave bodies, we can only feel emboldened. And if what separates us from machine learning is our emotional capacities, this is not a fine line we should approach nervously, but a suspended rope we could possibly dance on.

A convergence of various creative expressions, from Visual Art and Poetry to 4D Installations and Live Music. A kinetic exhibition exploring the value of intuition, rawness, and vulnerability, how emotional exposure is what truly leads to authentic connections. A meditation on movement and shared energies and a proposition that perhaps, our bodies are at their strongest and most beautiful when they are in motion.
