Xyza Ragunjan
A MOVEMENT ARTIST, A MENTOR, and a choreographer. She started her career as a street dancer and later found her love for voguing and the ballroom culture as she travelled to the US and around Asia to dive into the culture and learn from different voguers internationally. The producer of the first ever ball The Laby- rinth Ball, the Annual Eclipse Ball and several mini balls in the Philippines. She elevates the ballroom community in the country by spreading the love and knowledge for the craft not just by organizing balls, but also performing in several local fashion shows, working with different artists and brands, and supporting activities of the LGBTQIA+ community.
She is trailblazer of the Philippine Ballroom Community, and the Mother of The House of Mizrahi Philippine Chapter.
Broken Mirror
Broken Mirror explores self introspection in order to achieve actualization by recognizing different experiences, traumas and memories.
Tapping into different personas or persons, acknowledging the yin to ones yang, pushing ones boundaries, discovering connections and accepting all forms on interaction to find harmony.
This piece focuses on Voguing as an art form incorporating contemporary, gaga and somatic movement.
